Default Wireless issues with vista

ok i got a new comuter finally and i use wireless internet so i put the reciever in the slot. (upside down like i had to do with my last computer)
when i try to make it work after installing the dlink driver it says it cant find it in the dynamic link library. as such i cant play gw till i fix this and the stupid indian tech support people that can barely speak english had no clue what i was talking about. (understandable and no offense to indians) so ya if anyone can tell me how to fix this or should i just get a 50 ft cableandstaple it on the walls down to my computer either way thx in advance i hope.
sry if i missed info or dont make any sense.

Perhaps your wireless card isn't Vista compatiable.

Dynamic link library = DLL, probably not that big of a deal to understand to fix the problem. Any chance of you getting a screenshot of the error and uploading it somewhere?

What kind of wireless adapter is it? Did you try to run elevated (let me know if you don't know what that means) or as built in administrator when you installed the drivers?
